Leading direct response marketer increases support for ERA's self-regulatory efforts

CARLSBAD, Calif., March 30, 2004 — Savvier, the marketer of some of the most sought after exercise and fitness products, including 6 Second Abs, Zone Pilates, BodyFlex and Essential Boost, today announced that they have been named a Platinum Member of the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA).

The ERA is the principal trade organization representing electronic direct marketers, including direct response television, Internet and radio companies, home shopping networks, infomercial producers and short-form commercial producers worldwide.

This year, the ERA will be implementing an aggressive self-regulation process that allows members to police product and claims expeditiously and independently. If an ERA member feels that another member's marketing activity does not comply with applicable law, then a separate and independent governing body will review the advertising and product. ERA members are also required to certify their programming is in compliance with ERA's Marketing Guidelines, which supports providing consumers with provable, factual information and truth in advertising.
